You can enjoy a bite to eat at any of these four dog-friendly restaurants. Before you go, be sure to read our restaurant etiquette tips for dining out with your dog.

1. Lucky’s – 1536 E. 15th St. (map), 918-592-5825

Located on historic Cherry Street in Midtown Tulsa, Lucky’s offers stylish, upscale dining. It was voted one of the “Best New Restaurants of 2007″ by Tulsa World.

The menu at Lucky’s was inspired by its owners’ culinary training and their collection of recipes from New York, Chicago and Mexico.

Among the Sunday brunch offerings are almond griddle cakes with grilled mangoes and vanilla rum sauce; and eggs poblano, made with poached poblano hollandaise, marinated chicken, fry bread and grilled pineapple. Locals on Yelp! say the truffle french fries are a must.

Hours vary. Be sure to call ahead for reservations and dog-friendly seating.

2. Blue Moon Café – 3512 S. Peoria Ave. (map), 918-749-7800

Known for its relaxing ambience and great food, the Blue Moon Café is a must for any dog lover in the Brookside area of Tulsa.

Yelp! reviewer Sarah M. wrote, “Beautiful art and lighting? Lovely covered patio overlooking Brookside? Sweet treats? Perfect wine list? Does it get much better? This place rocks.”

Blue Moon Café is sure to delight pet parents any time of day. Cozy up with your pooch on the patio for morning coffee and quiche, or enjoy a glass a wine and the outdoor lights while you dine on tasty rainbow trout for dinner.

Hours vary for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

3. Elote Café & Catering – 514 S. Boston Ave. (map), 918-582-1403

Featuring organically grain-fed local meats and products made at local community gardens, the Elote Café uses only the freshest ingredients in the food it serves.

The menu consists of salads, quesadillas, burritos, tacos and wraps. Any item can be made vegan friendly. Some featured items are a spinach salad with candied pecans, queso fresco and fruit; a veggie burrito with black beans, sweet potatoes and white queso; and a Caesar salmon wrap with cilantro-glazed salmon, black bean hummus and Caesar dressing.

Dogs are welcome to join their pet parents at the outdoor tables. The Elote Café opens Mondays through Saturdays at 11 a.m.; closed Sundays.

4. The Colony – 2809 S. Harvard Ave. (map), 918-794-4208

 If you’re looking for a spot to grab a brew and bring your pooch, The Colony is the place. Locals have verified that the bar is dog friendly.

“The Colony is a great place to enjoy live music,” wrote Erica W. on Yelp!. “My favorite part is the fireplace. This makes for a very inviting place to cozy up, sit by the fire and listen to the night’s musician.”

The Colony is open Mondays through Fridays from 4 p.m. to 2 a.m.; Saturdays and Sundays from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. Check its website for details on the performance schedule.
